Seeker kicks the bucket after shot elephant falls on

Johannesburg – An expert big game seeker from Tzaneen, Theunis Botha, 51, kicked the bucket on Friday evening amid a chase in Gwai, in Zimbabwe, when an individual from his gathering terminated at a raging elephant dairy animals and the creature fell on him.

A source who would not like to be named disclosed to Netwerk24 that a gathering of seekers had gone for a stroll on Friday evening when they all of a sudden ran over a reproducing group of elephants.

Three elephant dairy animals raged the seekers and Botha shot at them. A fourth dairy animals raged them from the side and one of the seekers shot her after she’d lifted Botha with her trunk. The shot was deadly and as the bovine fallen, she fell on Botha.

Botha is made due by his better half Carika and their five youngsters.

He had been particularly enamored with chasing with puppies.

Netwerk24 has learnt that Botha was a notable seeker in Zimbabwe and regularly set out to the US to enlist well off Americans for trophy chasing in Southern Africa.

Carika will supposedly go to Zimbabwe on Monday to distinguish her better half’s body and to take it back to South Africa. She couldn’t be come to by telephone on Sunday morning.

Botha was a decent companion of Scott van Zyl’s who was killed by crocodiles in Zimbabwe a month ago. Van Zyl, 44, was on a chase at the Chikwaraka camp in Zimbabwe, when he vanished on April 7.

His knapsack was found on the banks of the Limpopo River and two crocodiles were shot amid the broad look for Van Zyl. DNA tests were done on tests taken of the crocodiles’ stomach substance, and it coordinated his.

Some portion of a Cat boot, like what Van Zyl was wearing when he vanished was found in the stomach of a third crocodile which was shot on April 14.
